• Heavy Highway Tyler, TX | Projects up to $100M | Exceptional profit-based bonus If you're already running heavy highway work, you probably don't need another advert telling you what a Project Manager does.

This role is worth looking at because the setup is different. You'd be joining a growing, self-performing heavy civil contractor with a strong backlog, a well-tenured leadership team, and a culture built around taking care of people who perform. The work is substantial. Highway projects run up to $100M , and the PM has real ownership of the job

The biggest differentiator is how they reward performance. The base salary is competitive, but the bonus is tied directly to the net operating profit of your projects . With individual project profits ranging from $2M to $10M+ , the upside is significant. On the right project, a single bonus check can exceed your annual base salary . This is not a role where the PM is removed from the field or buried behind paperwork. They want someone who understands how work gets built, how production drives margin, and how to work alongside field leadership to keep a job moving and profitable. You'll likely be a fit if you have: Strong heavy highway or DOT project experience Experience managing self-perform civil work A solid grasp of production, job cost, forecasting, and schedule Experience leading project teams and working closely with Superintendents A track record of running profitable work, not just administering it Texas experience is helpful, but not essential. If you're outside East Texas, relocation support is available .
