Welch Excavation is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage multiple construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in general contracting, site work, underground utilities, crew scheduling, and subcontractor coordination. This position requires strong organizational skills, leadership ability, and the capability to manage fast-paced projects while maintaining excellent communication with crews, subcontractors, vendors, and clients. Responsibilities Manage construction projects from planning through completion Coordinate and supervise over 18 construction crews Schedule manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications Maintain daily project reports including progress updates, schedules, delays, and site issues Review and approve crew time sheets and vendor invoices Attend pre-construction meetings and project coordination meetings Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff Handle multiple phone calls, emails, and project demands throughout the day Work closely with other Project Managers and field personnel to ensure successful project completion Coordinate with the Contract Administration Department regarding monthly billings and project documentation Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget Monitor job site productivity and address issues as they arise Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in the construction industry Strong background in general contracting, site work, and underground utilities Experience managing subcontractors and multiple crews Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and specifications Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Proficient in computer systems, email communication, and project documentation Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Valid driver's license required Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Six-figure salary potential for the right candidate Company Truck or Truck Allowance Provided Opportunity for long-term growth with a well-established company Application Requirements Applicants must submit: Full resume Minimum of 3 business references Relevant work history and project experience Join the team at Welch Excavation and Utility Co., Inc. and help lead successful construction projects with a company committed to quality, safety, and teamwork.
