Our Engineered Fill (EF) division specializes in lightweight foam concrete systems that solve real problems for real projects, and we're growing fast. Our sister company, Sound Crete, brings the same quality commitment to Gyp-Crete based flooring underlayments and leveling solutions. Together, we cover the full spectrum of specialty concrete. The Opportunity We are looking for a high-energy Sales & Project Manager to own and rebuild our Engineered Fill division in Utah and we mean own it. This is a role for someone who gets fired up about building something, not just maintaining it. You'll be the driving force behind EF sales growth in the region. You'll be hunting new clients, chasing upcoming project leads, and putting Cell-Crete's name on jobs that matter. While the EF pipeline builds, you'll have immediate traction on the floor side. Sound Crete's Utah operation is active and busy. You'll step in to support flooring projects, generate revenue from day one, and work alongside our Utah Manager who is already on the ground making things happen. What You'll Do Drive Sales & Business Development Actively prospect and develop new client relationships in the EF division across Utah and surrounding markets. Research and pursue upcoming project opportunities through industry databases, bid boards, and networking. Prepare and submit competitive estimates and bids; follow through with urgency to win work. Support Sound Crete's flooring division with sales and project management as EF business scales up. Represent Cell-Crete and Sound Crete with professionalism and enthusiasm. You are the face of our brand on the ground. Lead Projects from Start to Finish Own project scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination from contract award through completion. Maintain clear and accurate project records including contracts, change orders, and correspondence. Conduct weekly operations meetings with stakeholders to keep communication tight and projects on track. Collaborate closely with the Utah Manager at Sound Crete to align scheduling and share resources across divisions. Solve problems fast. In construction, things change and you'll be the one who keeps things moving. Manage & Grow the Team Build and lead an estimating team as the division grows by setting clear goals, standards, and accountability. Foster a culture of hustle, teamwork, and excellence; lead by example every day. Work with senior leadership to develop operational policies and procedures that scale with the business. Assist with budget oversight and financial reporting to ensure projects stay profitable. Oversee Utah Field Operations Oversee daily field and office operations, ensuring efficient workflow and communication among team members. Ensure senior leadership has the reporting, meeting cadence, and operational visibility they need to make decisions. Handle field supplies inventory and procurement to ensure the projects are well-stocked and inventory is organized. Address any operational issues that arise, providing timely solutions and support as needed. What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in construction sales, operations, or project management. Proven track record of winning new business: you can prospect, estimate, present, and close. Strong leadership experience with the ability to build and motivate a team. Background in scheduling, estimating, and project coordination; you know how to manage complexity. Excellent communicator who can work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Self-starter mentality:
you don't wait to be told what to do; you go find the work. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience (5+ years) also welcomed.
