This Contract position will help drive a range of store-focused initiatives by organizing schedules, coordinating communications, and keeping project activity on track across multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate brings strong project support experience, excellent follow-through, and the ability to work effectively with vendors, field teams, and internal stakeholders. This role is well suited for someone who can manage details confidently while helping special projects move forward efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Oversee assigned retail special projects independently, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and project milestones remain on schedule. Coordinate store improvement initiatives such as décor updates, checkout modifications, fixture additions or replacements, vestibule work, remodel activity, flooring upgrades, and refrigeration-related efforts. Distribute project communications and construction-related updates to vendors and field partners so execution requirements are clearly understood. Partner with project leadership to address scheduling conflicts, material shortages, installation concerns, and other issues affecting project progress. Escalate vendor performance concerns or supply-related challenges to the appropriate project leaders in a timely manner. Support material planning by working with project managers to identify needs, place orders, and communicate requirements to approved vendors through designated procurement systems. Track multiple project streams at once and maintain accurate status visibility for leadership and cross-functional teams. Help ensure store projects are completed in alignment with operational expectations, construction plans, and established deadlines. 3+ years of experience in project coordination, project support, or a related role within construction, retail, or facilities environments. Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, monitor project activity, and keep multiple assignments organized simultaneously. Working knowledge of construction projects, scheduling practices, and vendor coordination processes. Experience with project tracking and documentation, with strong attention to accuracy and follow-up. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with field teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in master scheduling and coordinating moving parts across several active projects. Comfortable handling administrative and project-related tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to scan project details quickly, identify issues, and support timely resolution.
