Job Description

YSI is seeking a Project Manager (Intermediate) to support leadership and teams for IT-related projects, utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Planning, coordination, reporting, and documentation to ensure successful project execution.
- Support Agile activities such as Kanban boards, Scrum meetings, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, demonstrations, and backlog reviews.
- Prepare written documentation, including briefings, technical reports, meeting minutes, and memorandums. Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related discipline; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT project management, with proven experience applying both waterfall and Agile methodologies. o This must include managing projects through a traditional waterfall lifecycle and utilizing Agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban (including sprint planning, backlog management, and use of Kanban boards).
- Demonstrated proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, with a specific preference for Agile practices including Kanban board management and Scrum framework implementation.
- Proven experience facilitating core Agile ceremonies, such as Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Daily Scrums, and backlog refinement sessions to ensure team alignment and velocity.
- Advanced capability in preparing professional written documentation, including executive-level briefings, technical reports, meeting minutes, and official memorandums.
- Experience managing enterprise-wide IT initiatives, with the ability to adapt project scope and execution in response to policy changes, new technology integration, or emerging capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain continual liaison with senior leadership to ensure project alignment with organizational priorities and to effectively communicate technical requirements and status updates.
- Active Top Secret clearance required.
