JOB DESCRIPTION

VAE is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the

VMOD 2.0

program, a voice modernization effort. The Project Manager will support the Program Manager in overseeing multiple parallel efforts, including IP phone deployments, analog gateway deployments and user migrations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilitate meetings with the client, vendors, and key stakeholders; tracking risks, issues, and action items through resolution; managing and reporting project status; and delivering weekly progress briefings to regional (NEC) stakeholders on IP phone deployment status. The Project Manager will help coordinate schedules and dependencies across concurrent workstreams to keep the program on track.

QUALIFICATIONS

5-10 years of project management experience, including management of IP telephony deployments. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience. Strong communication, scheduling, and risk management skills. Active Secret clearance desired. PMP certification desired.
