Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our installation team and work closely with our operations team. In this role, you will plan, direct, and participate in the design, construction and installation, and management of our awning projects. You will help ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, and that products are installed to required specifications while maintaining our high standards of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership:
Directly supervise, train, and mentor Lead Installers and Installers; conduct bi-monthly production meetings and assist with scheduling.
Project Management:
Plan, schedule, and coordinate project timelines; determine appropriate materials, and allocate labor, tools, and equipment for each job.
Technical & Manufacturing Oversight:
Conduct complex technical field measurements, review site plans/blueprints, and coordinate with manufacturing.
Quality & Safety:
Develop and enforce Quality Installation programs; ensure full compliance with
OSHA/VOSHA
safety mandates and building codes.
Client Relations:
Serve as a contact for project updates and work with clients when taking technical measurements and on installations, handle inquiries, and resolve site issues quickly and professionally.
Budget Tracking:
Assist in managing the installation budget (including tools, equipment, and vehicle fleet maintenance) with the Operations Manager and track expenditures.
Field Support:
Provide hands-on onsite supervision and support for large, complex installations (retractable systems and solar screens) and assist with seasonal product operations.
Qualifications Experience:
10+ years of proven construction and project management leadership.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in construction knowledge, CAD drawings, blueprints, and precision technical measuring.
Industry Knowledge:
Knowledge of awning installation and design is a plus.
Software:
Proficient with computer systems, office applications, and CRM software.
Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent English communication skills, and a knack for motivating and directing teams. Requires sitting at a desk while working on a computer and during travel.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
