Job Title:
Project Manager - Heavy Civil Construction Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee heavy civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing field operations, schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships across complex infrastructure projects. This role is best suited for someone with experience in heavy civil construction, including earthwork, bridge work, concrete, and utility projects. Key Responsibilities Manage heavy civil construction projects from award through completion Oversee project schedules, budgets, and cost controls Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications Track procurement, material deliveries, and overall project progress Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships Support project closeout, punch list, and final documentation Qualifications 10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction Strong background in earthwork, bridge work, concrete, and/or utilities Experience managing public and private infrastructure projects Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package Performance-based bonus opportunities PTO and paid holidays 401(k) with company match Comprehensive medical benefits Long-term growth opportunity with a stable and growing contractor Send resume to mitchell.guerrieri@gogpac.com for more information
