Job Description

Project Manager•Geotechnical Construction Seattle / Tacoma, WA A leading geotechnical contractor in the Pacific Northwest is actively hiring a Project Manager to support continued growth across Washington. This team has built a strong reputation delivering complex foundation and ground engineering projects and is now looking to bring on a driven PM for an immediate need, with interviews targeting a July start. This is a high impact role offering full ownership of projects, close collaboration with experienced field leadership, and the opportunity to contribute directly to long term client relationships and project success. The Opportunity You will manage one major project or multiple concurrent projects from preconstruction through closeout, acting as the key point of contact for clients, field teams, and design partners. Key Responsibilities Take full ownership of project execution including schedule, budget, quality, and safety Support construction planning, design interpretation, and constructability reviews Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, engineers, and subcontractors Partner with Superintendents to coordinate materials, sequencing, and field progress Develop and manage budgets, track costs, and protect project profitability Lead project meetings and represent the company in all external interactions Identify risks early and implement proactive solutions Contribute to safety and quality control planning What They Are Looking For 5+ years of project management experience within construction, ideally geotechnical or specialty contracting Proven ability to manage projects independently from start to finish Strong financial and contractual understanding Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust across teams Experience with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms Willingness to travel regionally as needed Preferred Background Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Familiarity with local agencies such as WSDOT or King County PE license or progression toward licensure Why This Opportunity Strong project backlog with consistent pipeline of work High autonomy and ownership over your projects Collaborative, experienced team environment Opportunity to work on technically challenging projects across the region Competitive benefits package including healthcare, retirement, and paid time off This is an urgent hiring need with interviews underway for a July start.
