Job Description

AEC is not a typical contractor. We execute complex environmental construction projects where
  • contaminated site remediation, fuel systems, demolition, and technically demanding civil work. Our projects are fast-paced, high-stakes, and require people who can think, lead, and deliver. We're looking for an Environmental Project Manager / Estimator who wants more than a job

  • from bid to closeout Estimating, including quantity takeoffs, pricing, and subcontractor coordination Project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation Financial performance (budget, cost tracking, forecasting, billing) Contract execution and compliance Coordination between field crews, clients, and internal teams Procurement of materials and subcontractors Project documentation, safety oversight, and reporting Client relationships and communication with owners, engineers, and regulators What You'll Be Working On Environmental remediation and contaminated site work Demolition and hazardous waste handling Earthwork, stormwater systems, and habitat restoration Complex, regulated projects that require precision and accountability What It Takes Strong understanding of construction estimating and project management Ability to read plans, specs, and contracts•and actually use them Experience managing environmental or heavy civil construction projects Solid grasp of risk, cost control, and project execution strategy Ability to lead teams and drive results in the field and office Clear, professional communication with clients and stakeholders High level of ownership, accountability, and follow-through Requirements 10+ years in construction (environmental or heavy civil preferred) 5+ years in project management or supervisory role Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent experience Working knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and applicable regulations PMP is a plus Certifications (preferred or required): 40-Hour
