Countertop Installation & Project Manager Atlantic Tile and Granite Kent, WA Job Details Full-time $25 - $35 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Fabrication Remodeling Attention to detail Production planning Project management in construction Full Job Description Countertop Installation & Project Manager We are seeking a Countertop Installation & Project Manager to oversee daily project coordination, countertop installation scheduling, fabrication timelines, and field execution for a fast-paced stone fabrication company. This role is heavily involved in coordinating active countertop projects from template through installation. The ideal candidate has experience in construction, stone fabrication, countertops, cabinetry, or related trades and understands how to manage schedules, crews, materials, jobsite communication, and project deadlines. This is a hands-on coordination and management role focused on production flow, installation readiness, field problem-solving, and successful project completion. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily schedules for templating, fabrication, deliveries, and countertop installations. Manage project flow from template to fabrication to installation. Work closely with shop crews, fabricators, installers, and office staff to keep jobs moving. Track project progress and ensure deadlines are met. Confirm material readiness, slab availability, fabrication timing, and installation requirements. Communicate with contractors, builders, designers, suppliers, and clients regarding scheduling and project updates. Review job details, measurements, layouts, edge profiles, sink/cooktop cutouts, backsplash details, and installation notes. Help resolve field issues, installation problems, missing information, material delays, or jobsite conflicts quickly and professionally. Coordinate with installers to ensure jobsites are ready prior to installation. Maintain organized job tracking, scheduling, and production systems. Support quality control before jobs leave the shop and after installation is complete. Follow up on punch-list items, service calls, and project completion details. Help improve workflow between office, shop, fabrication, and field teams. Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of experience in construction, countertop installation, stone fabrication, cabinetry, remodeling, or related field required. Previous experience as a project manager, installation manager, production coordinator, field coordinator, or operations manager preferred. Strong understanding of construction schedules, jobsite coordination, and field installation processes. Experience managing multiple active projects at the same time. Strong leadership, communication, and follow-up skills. Ability to work under pressure and adjust quickly when schedules or priorities change. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented and organized. Knowledge of countertops, stone fabrication, slabs, templating, installation, or construction drawings preferred. Ability to communicate professionally with crews, contractors, builders, designers, and clients.
