Job Description
Role
We are looking for a highly experienced ADU Project Manager / Development Manager with deep knowledge in permitting, zoning, and residential construction.
This role requires full ownership of projects — from feasibility and permitting through construction and final inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage ADU projects from concept to completion
Lead permitting process with city jurisdictions
Analyze zoning regulations, setbacks, FAR, and buildability
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and inspectors
Oversee contractors and subcontractors
Manage budgets, timelines, and execution quality
Handle inspections and final approvals
Requirements (Must Have)
5+ years experience in residential construction project management
Proven experience with ADUs / DADUs / permitting
Strong understanding of zoning and city processes
Experience working with architects, engineers, and inspectors
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Software Requirement (Mandatory)
Hands-on experience using JobTread is
REQUIRED

Estimating
Budgeting / Job Costing
Scheduling
