Job Description

CTG is seeking an experienced Project Manager I to support nuclear facility capital projects, outage activities, and online maintenance initiatives for our client. This role is responsible for leading small to medium-sized projects through planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage nuclear capital projects supporting refueling outages, forced outages, and online maintenance activities. Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate engineering, operations, maintenance, procurement, and vendor activities. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and work execution strategies. Oversee work package preparation, procurement coordination, ALARA planning, and industrial and nuclear safety compliance. Monitor project progress, resolve scheduling conflicts, and mitigate execution risks. Prepare project reports, status updates, and presentations for management and stakeholders. Support corrective action programs, outage coordination efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage contractor and vendor relationships, including contract oversight and performance management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong project management experience within commercial nuclear power plants or similarly regulated industrial environments. Experience supporting refueling outages, forced outages, online work management, or maintenance execution activities. Knowledge of advanced project management methodologies, budgeting, scheduling, and cost controls. Understanding of nuclear safety standards, human performance improvement methods, and error reduction techniques. Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Project Management certification required.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or related field with fourteen years of technical experience; OR Associate degree with sixteen years of technical experience; OR High School Diploma/GED with eighteen years of technical experience. Advanced degree may substitute for two years of experience. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $79.00 to $84.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
