This role demands a proactive leader with a deep understanding of construction management, project scheduling, cost control, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project budgets, and ensure the delivery of high-quality projects on time and within scope. Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and closing of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to coordinate all phases of construction activities. Manage project budgets by tracking costs, forecasting expenditures, and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety. Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate seamless communication and project progression. Review construction plans, schematics, blueprints (including Civil 3D files), and contracts to ensure accuracy and feasibility before execution. Utilize construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid for accurate cost estimation and resource allocation. Monitor project progress through regular site visits, progress reports, and schedule updates; adjust plans proactively to mitigate delays. Lead project teams by managing personnel assignments, providing clear direction, and fostering collaboration among all stakeholders. Ensure all construction activities meet regulatory requirements and adhere to local building codes and safety standards. Requirements Proven experience managing complex infrastructure, Public works and commercial construction projects with a strong track record of successful delivery. Extensive knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project), Construction management software platforms. Hands-on experience with construction scheduling techniques such as Construction schedule coordination and Project scheduling best practices. Strong understanding of construction regulations, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance standards applicable to large-scale projects. Proficiency reading blueprints, schematics (including Civil 3D drawings), and construction plans for accurate interpretation and implementation. Demonstrated ability managing teams in a construction management role with excellent leadership skills in project coordination and team development. Skilled in cost management strategies including budgeting, financial tracking, and contract administration. Knowledge of contracts management processes including negotiation and enforcement of contractual obligations. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects simultaneously. Construction site experience is essential; familiarity with managing heavy civil or infrastructure projects is preferred.
