Vancouver, WA Job Details Full-time $24 - $28 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Delegation Full Job Description Full-Time | In-Office Our Firm is seeking a Legal Project Manager to own assigned client matters from post-engagement through final completion. This role ensures each matter moves through the firm in the correct sequence, on time, and with all necessary work completed. You will coordinate across attorneys, paralegals, and support staff, and you are also responsible for actively moving cases forward through hands-on execution within the file, including preparing materials, organizing case components, and ensuring readiness for attorney review and client meetings. This is a client-facing role that includes conducting reviews and signing meetings, as well as maintaining client communication throughout the matter. After attorney direction, you will explain documents and next steps clearly and professionally, ensuring clients understand the process. This role requires strong ownership, organization, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts at once. You will identify gaps, follow through on execution, and ensure work is completed — not just assigned. Formal performance management of other team members remains with leadership.
Compensation:
$24 - $28 hourly depending on experienceResponsibilities:
Schedule and prepare client review meetings, signing appointments, and attorney meetings Manage client communications throughout active matters, responding to questions and relaying updates as needed Coordinate task assignments to attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to keep case components progressing on schedule Prepare and assemble documents, case materials, and file components for attorney review and execution After attorney direction, communicate instructions and next steps clearly to clients in meetings and follow-ups Track outstanding items across the case and follow up with responsible parties to ensure completion Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in firm systems for all assigned matters Identify missing items, errors, or delays in documents or workflow and route them for correction Support final case preparation and document readiness for client delivery and executionQualifications:
Prior experience in a professional, client-facing role with responsibility for coordination, project management, or operational execution Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple active matters simultaneously Comfortable both assigning work to others and completing hands-on work directly Experience managing deadlines, workflows, or multi-step processes in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to conduct client meetings and explain information clearly and professionally High attention to detail and strong follow-through Ability to take initiative and work independently without constant direction Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly Experience in legal, financial, healthcare, or other deadline-driven environments preferred but not required Notary Public license (or ability to obtain one) Valid driver's license and insurance Ability to lift up to 25 pounds About Company We are an estate planning and elder law firm helping individuals and families make informed decisions about their future with clarity and confidence.
