Position Description The Project Coordinator is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving the technical tools and automated workflows that support project and portfolio management activities. Approximately 90% of this role focuses on automation, data pipelines, reporting solutions, and tool administration, with the remaining 10% dedicated to light project coordination support. Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain automated workflows using SharePoint/Lists, Excel, and other Microsoft 365 tools.
Develop and manage data pipelines, including data extraction, transformation, validation, and refresh processes.
Create and support dashboards and reports ensuring accuracy, reliability, and clear data presentation.
Configure and administer project and work management tools such as SharePoint, Planner, Jira, or Smartsheet
Build selfservice tools, templates, and forms for intake, approvals, reporting, and portfolio management.
Develop lightweight scripts (VBA or Python, as applicable) to streamline data processing or reporting tasks.
Partner with stakeholders to identify process gaps and implement technology-driven solutions.
Document tools, workflows, and processes, including user guides and troubleshooting documentation.
Opportunity to work on the selection and implementation of new PPM Platform
Assist with maintaining project documentation such as status updates, RAID logs, and schedules.
Support coordination of project meetings, followups, and communication as needed.
Help ensure consistent application of PMO templates, standards, and governance processes.
Contribute to the organization and visibility of project and portfolio information.
Required Education & Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in project coordination, PMO operations, business analysis, or a tooling/automation-focused role.
Demonstrated ability to map processes and translate them into automated workflows.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Experience with Jira, Smartsheet, Plainview, Monday or other PPM Platforms highly desired
Experience with VBA, Python, or DAX a plus Why Choose Modine?
