Job Description
Senior Construction Project Coordinator We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Construction Project Coordinator to support complex construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role requires a strong understanding of construction operations, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and leadership in coordinating cross-functional teams. The Senior Coordinator will play a key role in driving project efficiency, ensuring compliance, and supporting overall project success. Key Responsibilities Lead coordination efforts for multiple construction projects simultaneously Support Project Managers in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules and budgets Serve as a primary point of contact for subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders Oversee and manage project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders Track project performance, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues Prepare and present detailed project status reports to leadership Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies Assist with procurement processes and vendor negotiations Mentor and support junior coordinators or administrative staff Participate in site visits, project meetings, and client communications as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in construction project coordination or project management support Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and documentation practices Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts Preferred Skills Experience with large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes Knowledge of local building codes, permitting, and regulatory requirements OSHA certification or advanced safety training Experience mentoring or supervising team members What We Offer Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for leadership and career advancement Dynamic and collaborative work environment Involvement in high-impact and complex construction projects Apply online or send your resume to hannah.behrens@gogpac.com / Call or Text (605)601-5546 for a confidential conversation.
