Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team and oversee industrial pipe fabrication projects from contract award through final delivery. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers while coordinating with engineering, purchasing, production, and field personnel to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial pipe fabrication, strong knowledge of piping drawings, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Review project estimates, contracts, and customer requirements Set up and maintain project documentation and pre-job information Gather and manage submittal packages and project documentation Prepare and issue Requests for Information (RFIs) Price and process change orders Coordinate procurement of project-specific materials and services Create and issue purchase orders and subcontract agreements Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle Participate in weekly production and scheduling meetings with shop leadership Track project progress, schedules, and deliverables Manage project invoicing and assist with accounts receivable follow-up when necessary Coordinate delivery logistics and shipment of completed projects Conduct project closeout activities and customer follow-up to ensure satisfaction QualificationsRequired Experience in Industrial Pipe Fabrication Experience working with isometric and orthographic piping drawings Strong understanding of piping systems, fabrication processes, and project workflows Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Preferred Experience using SpoolFab (Acorn Spool) software Experience creating fabrication-related documentation including: Material lists Packing lists Construction notes Shop drawings Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent industry experience What We're Looking For We are looking for a self-motivated professional who understands industrial pipe fabrication and can effectively coordinate projects from start to finish. Candidates with SpoolFab experience and a strong background interpreting piping drawings will be highly preferred.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
