Project Coordinator - Special Projects (Construction)
Job Type:
Contract (7 Months)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of multiple projects in a fast-paced commercial environment. This role works closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to coordinate project activities, monitor schedules, track deliverables, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and committed to driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Project Managers with planning, coordination, and execution of multiple projects. Independently manage assigned projects from initiation through completion. Track project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and deadlines. Prepare and maintain project status reports and project documentation. Coordinate project communications with internal and external stakeholders. Gather project data to support planning, reporting, and decision-making. Identify project risks, escalate issues, and assist in developing mitigation plans. Prioritize multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance project execution. Troubleshoot project challenges and help develop preventative solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Required Qualifications Associate degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a project-based environment. Working knowledge of project management methodologies. Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Project Management Institute (PMI) certification or working toward certification. Experience with SAP Project Systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills. Knowledge of Lean methodologies or continuous improvement principles.

Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong critical thinking skills. Ability to identify risks and support effective project execution.
