Job Description:
Project Manager (New Product Development) - Madison, Wisconsin My Client are part of a Global Group of companies operating in the Audio sector containing some of the most prestigious brands in the business. They design and manufacture professional audio equipment that has been used on the sets of Oscar-winning Hollywood sets. Equipment is ruggedized to be able to withstand some of the harshest environments on the planet. We are seeking a Project Manager to take responsibility for the following: Leading cross-functional project planning and execution for new product development, including schedules, deliverables, and resource coordination. Managing production cost targets, budgets, and financial tracking in collaboration with Finance and leadership. Overseeing hardware and mechanical teams, setting priorities and driving performance to meet timelines and cost objectives. Identifying, mitigating, and escalating technical, schedule, supply chain, and cost risks where necessary. Coordinating end-to-end product lifecycle activities, including prototype builds, BOM/ERP management, procurement, and support for product launch. They will have the following background: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or similar) 5+ years' experience managing hardware/mechanical engineering projects. Strong knowledge of full product lifecycle, from prototype through to production, including ERP systems, BOM, and ECN management. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
