Full-Time | 4-Day Work Week | Paid Training TORQ Coatings is hiring a Project Manager / Crew Lead to join our growing Wisconsin team in Waukesha. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows how to get the job done, takes pride in quality work, and can lead a crew from start to finish. If you have experience in construction, concrete, flooring, coatings, or another hands-on trade and are ready to take the next step in your career, this could be a great opportunity to grow with TORQ. You won't just be managing projects from a desk. You'll be in the field leading your crew, working alongside them, and making sure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to TORQ's standards. The Schedule Full-time 4-day work week Optional 5th day available for additional income Paid training Most projects are completed in one day, so you'll be able to see the finished result of your work quickly. What You'll Do As a Project Manager / Crew Lead, you'll be responsible for leading installation crews and overseeing projects from preparation through completion.
Daily responsibilities include:
Lead and manage a floor coating installation crew. Oversee projects from start to finish. Prepare job sites and concrete surfaces for coating. Grind, clean, repair, and prepare concrete floors. Apply epoxy and polyaspartic floor coating systems. Ensure proper installation techniques and quality standards are followed. Coordinate the crew's daily activities and keep projects moving efficiently. Make sure materials, tools, and equipment are available and ready for each project. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Identify and resolve issues that arise during projects. Communicate project updates and concerns with company leadership. Work directly with customers while on-site and provide a professional experience. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets TORQ's quality standards. Train, coach, and develop installation team members. Lead by example and help create a positive team environment. We're Looking For Someone Who Has experience leading a crew or team. Has a strong work ethic and takes ownership of their work. Is dependable and shows up ready to work. Is comfortable working with their hands and being in the field. Has strong attention to detail. Can communicate clearly with both customers and team members. Can stay organized and manage multiple priorities. Is comfortable making decisions and solving problems on the job. Takes pride in producing high-quality work. Is willing to get in the field and work alongside the crew. Wants an opportunity to grow with a company. Experience in these industries is helpful: Concrete Floor coatings Flooring Construction Home improvement Painting Landscaping General contracting Previous floor coating experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person who has strong leadership skills, relevant trade experience, and the right attitude.
