In this role, you will support the overall operations of residential properties, ensuring smooth day-to-day functions, exceptional tenant relations, and adherence to legal and regulatory standards. Your energetic approach will help foster positive client relationships, streamline administrative processes, and contribute to the successful management of our properties. Duties Assist in managing lease or rental agreements, ensuring all documentation complies with legal requirements and company policies Support property leasing activities by conducting tours, processing applications and handling the signing of the lease Maintain accurate data entry and filing of tenant records, contracts, and property maintenance logs using property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite Coordinate property maintenance requests with vendors and facilities management teams to ensure timely resolution of issues Handle client communication with professionalism via phone, email, and in person, providing exceptional customer service at all times Support budgeting efforts by tracking expenses, preparing reports, and assisting with financial reconciliation processes Enforce Fair Housing regulations to promote equitable housing opportunities for all applicants Skills Proficiency with property management software systems for efficient operations Strong knowledge of Alaska landlord-tenant law, lease management, and Fair Housing regulations to ensure compliance Excellent conflict management skills to resolve tenant disputes amicably while maintaining positive relationships Demonstrated ability in team management, customer service, negotiation, and contracts administration Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for daily administrative tasks and data analysis Knowledge of property maintenance procedures best practices Effective phone etiquette combined techniques to maximize leasing opportunities Ability to handle data entry accurately while maintaining organized filing systems for legal documents and tenant records Alaska real estate license is required Join us as an Assistant Property Manager where your enthusiasm meets your expertise!
