Flexible, approximately 5-15 hours per week (as needed) We're looking for a dependable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Property Assistant to serve as our local representative for a residential transitional living home in Birmingham, AL. The owner lives in California, so this position is ideal for someone who enjoys flexible work and can be the "eyes and ears" on the ground. Responsibilities Meet and provide access to contractors, vendors, and repair technicians. Conduct routine property inspections and report any issues. Bring packages inside and check for deliveries. Take photos and videos of the property when requested. Coordinate with handymen and service providers to ensure work is completed properly. Report maintenance concerns promptly. Perform light errands related to the property. Respond to occasional urgent or emergency situations, if available. Qualifications Must live in the Birmingham area. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Excellent communication skills. Dependable, honest, and organized. Comfortable using a smartphone to send photos, videos, and updates. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience in property management, real estate, maintenance coordination, or home watch is a plus, but not required.
