Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, excellent customer service skills, and a thorough understanding of Fair Housing regulations. This role requires effective conflict management abilities and proficiency in property management software such as Yardi or OneSite. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of property operations, including tenant relations, leasing, maintenance, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and local laws governing property management. Handle tenant inquiries and complaints with professionalism and effective conflict resolution strategies. Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of repairs through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Maintain accurate records through data entry and customer relationship management tools. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and overall property appearance. Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants while retaining existing ones. Collaborate with vendors and contractors for maintenance services, ensuring quality work at competitive prices. Experience Proven experience in property management or a related field is essential. Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and local laws affecting property management practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to maintain positive relationships with tenants and vendors. Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi or OneSite is preferred. Strong data entry skills along with experience in customer relationship management systems. Effective phone etiquette and communication skills are critical for success in this role. Experience in conflict management to resolve tenant issues amicably is highly desirable.
