Assistant Community Manager Brookhaven Property Group Phenix City, AL Job Details Full-time 20 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Employee discount Qualifications Customer communication Customer retention Community management Client rapport building Employee relationship building Property management company experience Community relationship building Multifamily properties Marketing Full Job Description We are a growing, national property management firm seeking a full-time Assistant Community Manager for a conventional apartment community in the Opelika, Auburn, and/or Phenix City area. The candidate must be self-motivated, organized, resourceful, and can positively add to a team. At least 2-years of property management experience is required.

Responsibilities include: Answering phones and conducting all leasing activities, highlighting community amenities while conducting community tours, follow-up with prospects, and marketing. Processing applications according to Fair Housing and company policies while focusing on a high closing ratio converting leads to leases. Assisting the community manager with the day-to-day operations of the community including but not limited to creating service tickets, accepting rent payments, and other duties as assigned. Focus on retention activities including lease renewals and identifying community events to foster a feeling of community. Establishing and maintaining good rapport and communication with residents, vendors, and co-workers. Follow all policies and procedures and follow all Fair Housing guidelines The ideal candidate must be reliable and can successfully multitask. The best candidate for this position will have a working knowledge of a Multifamily management office and have at least 2-years of property management experience, strong customer service experience, be great with people, a sales background and can learn quickly.
