Job Description

A well-established multifamily community is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager with strong leasing and operational experience to join its onsite team.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and post rental income Prepare and deliver delinquency notices, three-day notices to vacate, and assist with eviction processes Communicate with residents regarding renewals, notices, and move-outs Actively participate in leasing activities and support occupancy goals Maintain accurate and organized resident files and documentation Assist with general office operations, including phone coverage and resident correspondence Prepare security deposit refunds and charges Post miscellaneous income and expenses, including NSF checks and vendor commissions Ensure all lease files are current, complete, and compliant Assume Property Manager responsibilities in their absence, as needed
Requirements:
Minimum of 1+ years of experience in multifamily property management HUD regulations, guidelines, and compliance requirements experience required. Strong background in collections and familiarity with eviction procedures Leasing experience required Highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-service focused
