Responsibilities Supervise and support residents, ensuring adherence to house rules and behavioral expectations Facilitate intake assessments and develop individualized recovery plans for new residents Manage resident confidentiality while maintaining accurate documentation of case notes and progress reports Coordinate with addiction counselors, social workers, and mental health professionals to deliver comprehensive care Implement conflict management and de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes and maintain a peaceful environment Conduct regular safety checks, manual handling tasks, and security protocols to ensure a secure living space Support residents with crisis intervention, medication administration, and behavioral health needs as required Maintain detailed records using Microsoft Office tools, including filing, data collection, and incident reporting Engage with families and community resources to support residents' holistic well-being Lead activities focused on life skills development, behavioral management, and community building Qualifications Proven supervising experience in residential or community settings, preferably within behavioral health or social work fields Knowledge of addiction counseling principles, crisis intervention techniques, and de-escalation methods Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness or from underserved communities Strong communication skills with the ability to write clear reports and facilitate resident engagement Familiarity with working with culturally diverse populations and youth is highly desirable Ability to handle high-risk situations with calmness and professionalism using conflict management strategies Certification in CPR, First Aid, medication administration, manual handling, and home & community care is preferred Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions or substance use disorders is essential Competency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and data collection purposes Join us in creating a nurturing environment where individuals can rebuild their lives.
