Job Description
Overview Cornerstone Property Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Community Manager to lead the successful day-to-day operations of our apartment communities. The ideal candidate is customer-focused leader who takes pride in creating a positive resident experience, maintaining a high-quality community, driving occupancy and retention, developing a strong on-site team, and achieving operational and financial performance goals. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the apartment community. Lead, train, and motivate the leasing and/ or maintenance teams. Maintain high occupancy through effective leasing and resident retention strategies. Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Prepare and manage operating budgets, monitor expenses, and maximize property performance. Handle resident concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner. Conduct property inspections to ensure curb appeal and community standards are maintained. Coordinate maintenance operations and capital improvement projects. Monitor rent collections, delinquency, and lease compliance. Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of apartment property management experience. Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations. Experience with property management software (Voyager experience preferred). Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree is a plus.
