Aster Aging has a Senior Center Manager position currently open at our Downtown Mesa Senior Center, where each day is unlike the next! Utilize your skills working with the seniors that come to the center daily to participate in various activities by developing new programming to address the changing needs and preferences of our older adult senior center participants. Promote community engagement opportunities to bring in expert presenters. Prepare the monthly activity calendar. This position involves significant teamwork and collaborative efforts with staff, volunteers, program participants and the community. Full-time (40 hours / week) position Competitive salary and benefits package Qualifications include: Progressively responsible recreation or social service work history with older adults including supervisory experience. Nonprofit and volunteer engagement experience preferred. A bachelor's degree in social work, gerontology, recreation or a closely related field preferred, or a minimum of two years' experience working with at-risk older adults and their families.
