Job Description
The Alternative to Meds Center is a licensed holistic residential, behavioral health, and substance abuse treatment facility in Sedona, Arizona. We specialize in helping patients taper off of and find alternatives to medications. Our program is both holistic and integrative. Through the use of an environmental toxin removal program, orthomolecular supplementation, organic healthy diet, and naturopathic treatments, residents work to restore balance to their brain chemistry, thereby reducing symptoms and reducing the need for medications and other substances. Our residents travel to us from all over the world to participate in our immersive residential program. We are a small organization of around 50 team members delivering care for up to 17 residents at a time. We are currently hiring one experienced Chef to join our team in a Management Capacity, to prepare & serve Dinner (for our residents) on Mon, Tues, Wed, & Fri, from 2-8pm. Our ideal candidate will have some flexibility within their schedule to provide PRN coverage for other shifts/meals, on an as needed basis. A typical shift serving Dinner begins at 2pm, and wraps up around 7:30
- 8pm.
Note:
The schedule outlined here reflects our current needs, but could possibly be adjusted a bit, or be shifted down the road, based on the applicant's availability, and the current team's ability to switch around shifts. SHIFTS, if available / needed Currently seeking the right individual to cook beautiful, clean and delicious meals in a therapeutic environment. Applicants should have a strong background in food service, be creative, and self-motivated. At least 3 years experience preferred, pay depending on experience. AZ Food- Manager's
- Card required (though that can be obtained after hire).
- This is not a requirement, but a possibility in case this is of interest to any applicants.

ranges between $26- $28/hour depending on experience and education, with increases based on performance.
