Build a Team. Drive Results. We are seeking an experienced Community Manager to lead the daily operations of a student housing community in Tucson, Arizona. We're looking for a confident, relationship-driven leader who understands the unique pace and demands of student housing, including leasing cycles, resident engagement, and turn operations. The right candidate will enjoy developing people, creating an exceptional living experience for residents, and delivering strong operational and financial results. This role is about more than managing a property. It's about leading a team, building a culture of accountability, and creating a community where both residents and employees thrive. Position Summary As the Community Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of community operations, including financial performance, leasing, resident satisfaction, maintenance coordination, and team leadership. You'll establish clear expectations, foster collaboration, and ensure the community operates with professionalism, efficiency, and pride. Success in this role requires sound judgment, initiative, strong communication, and the ability to balance resident service with business performance. How You'll Make an Impact Lead and develop a high-performing onsite team through coaching, accountability, and recognition. Drive occupancy, resident retention, and financial performance by executing effective leasing and operational strategies. Deliver an exceptional resident experience by resolving concerns promptly and fostering positive relationships. Oversee budgeting, expense management, reporting, and community performance. Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the community is safe, well-maintained, and visually appealing. Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and all applicable laws. Build relationships with vendors, residents, and business partners while maintaining high operational standards. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions that strengthen community performance. The community reflects a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement. What You'll Bring Previous experience managing a multifamily or student housing community required. Student housing experience strongly preferred. Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development skills. Working knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, leasing, turn operations, and property operations. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Experience with Yardi, Entrata, RealPage, or similar property management software preferred. Knowledge of Fair Housing requirements and applicable landlord-tenant regulations. Arizona real estate license preferred. Candidates who are not currently licensed must be willing and able to obtain an Arizona real estate license within six months of hire.
