May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our commercial portfolio. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with extensive commercial property management experience, and a passion for delivering outstanding tenant service. In addition to being an experienced property manager, we're looking for someone who is comfortable with technology, enjoys improving processes, and is open to utilizing modern property management software and AI tools to increase efficiency. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of commercial properties. Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, contractors, brokers, and ownership. Market and lease available spaces, including coordinating property tours and tenant onboarding. Review applications, negotiate lease terms, and assist with lease administration. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure properties are maintained to a high standard. Coordinate repairs, maintenance, capital improvement projects, and vendor performance. Respond promptly to tenant concerns while maintaining excellent customer service. Enforce lease provisions and professionally handle tenant disputes, defaults, and lease compliance. Prepare and serve legal notices, including Three-Day Notices, and coordinate with legal counsel when necessary. Maintain accurate records within property management software. Stay informed on market trends, commercial leasing practices, and applicable California laws. Assist with site plans, property projects, and operational improvements. Qualifications Required Minimum 10 years of commercial property management experience. Strong understanding of commercial leases and tenant relations. Experience with Yardi or comparable commercial property management software. Proficiency Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Strong vendor management and project coordination experience. Professional conflict resolution and customer service skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Preferred Comfortable learning and utilizing AI tools and emerging technology to improve efficiency. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Power Apps, or similar workflow platforms. Experience creating site plans or working with commercial property mapping software. We're Looking for Someone Who...
