Job Summary The Live-In Sober Living Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the structure, safety, and integrity of our recovery home. This role combines supervision, mentorship, and operational oversight to ensure residents receive consistent support while holding them accountable to the community standards of Ethos Recovery. This is a live-in position that includes free rent, meals, and a modest monthly wage. The manager may hold another job during the day and may also have the opportunity to pick up additional paid shifts within our broader network of behavioral health and recovery support services, depending on availability, qualifications, and program needs. This role is ideal for someone who is responsible, dependable, recovery-oriented, and interested in being part of a mission-driven community. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support residents, ensuring accountability and adherence to house guidelines. Conduct resident check-ins, support community meetings, and foster a culture of responsibility. Utilize crisis intervention techniques to address emergencies or behavioral concerns. Facilitate the intake and orientation of new residents, including assessments and documentation. Administer drug and alcohol testing as needed. Maintain accurate records of resident progress, incidents, and services delivered. Serve as a point of contact for families, treatment teams, and referral sources as needed. Model pro-social behavior, consistent boundaries, and leadership by example. Engage in conflict resolution and support residents in navigating challenges constructively. Communicate effectively with leadership and other team members regarding resident needs, house operations, and any concerns that arise. Desired Skills & Qualifications Experience in sober living, recovery housing, or behavioral health strongly preferred. Strong crisis management and conflict resolution skills. Knowledge of addiction, recovery principles, and relapse prevention strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to model respect and accountability. First Aid/CPR certification preferred, or willingness to obtain. Case management, peer support, house management, or behavioral health experience is a plus. Must maintain personal sobriety if in recovery; minimum 2 years preferred. Must be reliable, professional, and able to maintain healthy boundaries with residents.
