Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

About the Position As our portfolio continues to expand, we are hiring a Property Management Supervisor - Chambers Property Management of Fresno to help manage the day-to-day activity surrounding our rental properties. This is a hands-on position that combines office responsibilities with time in the field. You will help oversee property conditions, leasing activity, inspections, tenant communication, vendor coordination, and other operational needs throughout our managed portfolio. The right person will be comfortable taking ownership of assigned properties, keeping multiple priorities organized, and communicating professionally with property owners, tenants, applicants, vendors, and local housing agencies. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Oversee Properties and Inspections Regularly visit assigned properties to monitor condition, appearance, and curb appeal Complete property inspections and verify that vacant units are clean, safe, and ready to rent Identify maintenance or property concerns and communicate needed work to vendors or the appropriate internal team Track open issues and follow up to make sure work is completed properly and within a reasonable timeframe Proactively address concerns before they develop into larger property problems Take responsibility for the overall condition and performance of assigned properties Support Leasing and New Residents Conduct rental property showings and answer questions from prospective tenants Respond to inquiries received through phone calls, email, and rental listing websites Stay up to date on vacancies, rental pricing, property details, and availability Review rental applications and coordinate background and credit screenings Guide qualified applicants through approval, lease signing, and move-in Help coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs while keeping everyone informed throughout the process Communicate With Owners, Tenants, and Vendors A major part of the Property Management Supervisor - Chambers Property Management of Fresno position is keeping communication clear and consistent.
You will:
Act as a professional point of contact for property owners, tenants, applicants, vendors, and service providers Coordinate with vendors and internal team members to keep property operations moving Provide timely communication regarding vacancies, maintenance, inspections, leasing activity, and other property concerns Assist with resolving routine tenant and property-related issues professionally Document conversations, applications, inspections, transactions, and other important information within the property management system Rental Marketing and Property Listings Take clear, professional photos of available rental properties Help create accurate and appealing rental advertisements Publish vacancies on relevant rental listing platforms Update listings, availability, property information, and rental details as needed Help ensure prospective tenants receive accurate information about our available properties Leasing Documentation and Compliance Review lease documents for accuracy and completeness Follow company procedures and applicable leasing requirements Assist with Section 8, City of Fresno, and other housing-related paperwork or documentation Maintain professional leasing practices in accordance with fair housing laws Keep property and tenant documentation organized and up to date What We Are Looking For Our ideal candidate brings a combination of property management knowledge, strong communication skills, organization, and personal accountability.
Preferred qualifications include:
Real estate license preferred Minimum of two years of experience in property management, leasing, or real estate Familiarity with the Fresno-area rental market Working knowledge of fair housing regulations and leasing procedures Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent time management, organization, and follow-up abilities Professional and approachable demeanor Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team Proactive problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial mindset Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus The Type of Person Who Does Well Here This role may be a good fit if you are someone who notices what needs attention and follows through without needing constant direction.
