In Person Join Our Team We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced ARF Administrator to oversee the daily operations of a licensed Adult Residential Facility serving adults with developmental disabilities in Lathrop, California. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring quality resident care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and creating a positive home environment where residents can thrive. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, has strong leadership skills, and understands California ARF regulations and Regional Center services. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Facility Management Oversee all daily operations of the Adult Residential Facility. Ensure the health, safety, rights, and well-being of all residents. Maintain compliance with California Community Care Licensing regulations, Title 17, Title 22, and Regional Center requirements. Serve as the primary contact for Community Care Licensing, Regional Center representatives, families, healthcare providers, and community partners. Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and person-centered care. Resident Services Participate in resident assessments and admission decisions. Monitor implementation of Individual Program Plans (IPP), behavior support plans, and service goals. Attend and participate in IPP meetings and ensure follow-through on recommendations. Advocate for resident rights, independence, dignity, and community integration. Ensure residents receive appropriate medical, dental, behavioral health, and therapeutic services. Staff Supervision & Development Hire, train, supervise, coach, and evaluate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). Ensure staff maintain required certifications, training, and regulatory compliance. Provide ongoing guidance regarding resident care plans, behavioral interventions, and best practices. Maintain staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage while managing labor costs effectively. Foster teamwork and a positive work environment focused on quality services. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate resident records and facility documentation. Monitor personal and incidental funds in accordance with regulatory requirements. Assist with budget management and operational planning. Ensure emergency preparedness plans, medication records, and facility documentation remain current and compliant. Health & Safety Maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained home environment. Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and safety inspections as needed. Ensure all health, safety, infection control, and emergency procedures are followed. QualificationsRequired Must be at least 21 years of age. Current California Adult Residential Facility (ARF) Administrator Certificate. Minimum two (2) years of experience working in residential services, developmental disabilities services, or a related field. Experience supervising staff and managing residential programs. Working knowledge of California Title 17 and Title 22 regulations. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple responsibilities. Valid California Driver License, current auto insurance, and acceptable driving record. Ability to successfully complete background clearance, fingerprinting, TB testing, and health screening requirements. Current CPR and First Aid certification. Preferred Experience working with Regional Centers and Community Care Licensing. Previous experience as an ARF Administrator or Assistant Administrator. Experience supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: A strong leader who leads by example. Pay:
$51,573.08 - $62,109.52 per year
