Full Job Description SUMMARY:
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Resident Manager to oversee daily operations of a 40+ residential property. This live-in position includes on-call responsibilities for after-hours emergencies, ensuring the safety, security, and smooth functioning of the property at all times.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting the property management company with resident relations, maintenance work orders, vendor relations, and preparation of units for lease. Answers incoming phone calls professionally and handles accordingly, whether the caller is a prospective resident, a resident, an internal Company team member or a vendor. Takes resident service requests in a complete and accurate manner, route them to maintenance for prompt processing and conduct follow-up with residents. Ensures the leasing office, models, and vacant apartments are clean and present a warm-welcoming image of the property. Respond promptly to urgent tenant requests or incidents during evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of on-call duty. Physically inspects the property when on grounds, pick up litter and report any service needed to the maintenance team. Maintains accurate resident records in accordance with Company policy. Updates all rents, deposits and applications fees received from residents daily. Updates reports concerning notice to vacate, vacancy reports, activity reports, etc. daily. Issues appropriate notices such as late payment, eviction notices, returned check memos. Minimizes delinquency through consistent follow-through on collection activities, including phone calls, notices, and personal visits. Organizes and files all applicable reports, leases, and paperwork. Deposits all receipts (if needed) prior to bank closing each day. Maintains relationships with residents, associates, and vendors on a professional level at all times. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
OTHER SKILLS
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a requirement.
SCHEDULE
Regular Hours:
approx. 32 hours per week. This role includes on-call duties to provide after-hours support for critical systems. This is a live-in position; housing is provided.
