A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Job Description

The Portfolio Supervisor is responsible for operations on a portfolio of various properties that range from single family residences and condos to smaller multi-family apartment buildings. They manage all aspects of running each property in the portfolio and work within the parameters set by Uplift Property Management and the owner. They work hard to make sure maintenance and leasing procedures are carried out properly and coincide with the goals of the owner. The Portfolio Supervisor is expected to maintain strong relationships with the owner of each property, vendors that will be working on properties, and residents living in the properties.

Education:
High School Diploma or above, CA Real Estate Sales license is needed for the job within 6 months of hiring. Will be paid for by the company.
Skills:
Task oriented, High levels of time management, Keep accurate records, Computer proficient, Written and verbal communication skills, Attention to detail, Conflict Resolution.
Professional Certification:
Valid CA Driver's License, Sexual Harassment Trained, Fair Housing.
Experience:
1-3 years experience preferred in property management, leasing, and maintenance coordination (preferably in a small to mid-sized company).
