As an Armed Security Officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. This driving post requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver's license. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical calls, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare accurate reports. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and provide directions or assistance in accordance with site procedures. Maintain a professional presence while observing and reporting unusual activity, property damage, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to designated personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card or license is required. Customer service experience is preferred. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
