A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Property Manager - Level 5Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Property Manager to oversee the functional aspects of a single property or portfolio of commercial, industrial, or retail properties. This role requires in-person presence at our San Diego location and offers a temporary assignment for a duration of one year, with the possibility of extension. Responsibilities
+ Manage staff responsible for the functional aspects of property management.
+ Coordinate with a stable on-site team, including experienced Assistant Property Managers and a long-standing engineering team.
+ Process invoices and manage heavy email traffic efficiently.
+ Handle tenant communications and client requests with professionalism.
+ Coordinate with the team and ensure seamless operations.
+ Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships. Essential Skills
+ Real Estate License + 5-8 years of experience in property management
+ Strong organizational skills for managing heavy email traffic
+ Expertise in financial reporting, including variances and accruals
+ Proficiency in MS Office, Teams, and MRI software Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and experience
+ Mentorship mentality for supporting and training junior staff
+ Patience and adaptability when working with private equity clients Work Environment This position is based in an on-site office located at 401 West A Street, San Diego. The work environment is fast-paced, involving direct client interaction and team coordination. The office hosts a reliable team, including unionized engineering staff, and necessitates a professional appearance and demeanor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $57.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
