Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Resident Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community in Santa Ana, CA. This role is essential in ensuring exceptional property management, maintaining high resident satisfaction, and upholding compliance with all relevant regulations. The Resident Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for residents, staff, and vendors, fostering a welcoming and well-maintained environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an energetic individual with strong administrative skills and a passion for customer service to make a meaningful impact in our community. Duties Manage aspects of property operations including leasing, tenant relations, and maintenance coordination Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8, and other applicable housing laws Utilize property management software such as Appfolio to maintain accurate records Conduct property tours, lease negotiations, and upselling of available units to prospective tenants Oversee property maintenance and facilities management to ensure a safe, clean, and attractive environment Handle legal administrative tasks and conflict management with tenants or vendors Maintain excellent customer service standards through effective phone etiquette, conflict resolution, and personalized tenant engagement Coordinate with vendors for property repairs and upkeep Requirements Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on residential communities Bilingual in Spanish Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing policies, and legal administrative procedures Familiarity with property management software Appfolio Excellent customer service skills combined with effective negotiation abilities Experience in facilities management, property maintenance coordination, and conflict resolution Demonstrated ability to handle contracts, legal notices, and administrative documentation accurately Office experience including data entry, filing systems, phone etiquette, and customer relationship management tools Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record-keeping and compliance documentation Join us as a Resident Manager if you are passionate about creating vibrant communities through effective management and outstanding service.
