Female Residential Life Mentor / Student Support Staff (Bilingual Mandarin Chinese & English) COC Global Education Santa Clarita, CA Job Details Full-time $4,000 - $5,000 a month 3 days ago Benefits Employee assistance program Professional development assistance Qualifications Mandarin Foreign language proficiency Behavior management Teamwork English Full Job Description We are seeking a Female Residential Life Mentor to support students in their daily residential life and help maintain a stable, supportive, and well-managed living environment. This role requires someone with strong communication skills , the ability to build trust with students , and the capacity to manage student issues in a timely and professional manner . The ideal candidate should be proactive, responsible, and able to work closely with both students and the teaching team. Bilingual fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is required. Key Responsibilities Communicate with students regularly and provide daily life support Manage student behavior and help maintain a positive residential environment Identify and address student life-related issues in a timely manner Work closely with the teaching team to support students' overall development Report student concerns, incidents, and problems to supervisors promptly Coordinate with colleagues and maintain smooth internal communication Help students adjust to residential expectations and daily routines Provide guidance, supervision, and emotional support when needed Qualifications Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English Strong communication and interpersonal skills Able to build rapport with students and manage student-related matters effectively Responsible, observant, and proactive Strong teamwork skills and able to collaborate well with colleagues Able to provide timely feedback and accurate updates regarding student issues Experience in student affairs, residential life, education, counseling, or youth support is preferred Work Setting On-site Residential / student support environment
Pay:
$4,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
