Powerstone Property Management, a growing community association (HOA) management company is seeking an experienced Senior Community Association Manager for its regional office in Thousand Oaks, CA. Job Description:
The ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of associations in accordance with the respective management contract for each community association. Working with multiple Board of Directors in all aspects of CID management including annual budget preparation, maintenance/landscape projects, compliance/delinquency issues, committee oversight, vendor and community relations. Serve as a liaison between the management company and the Boards. Assist the Boards in fulfilling their fiduciary duties and responsibilities while ensuring adherence to all applicable California laws and enforcement of HOA governing documents. Review financial reports and prepare budgets, agendas and board packages. Prepare annual calendar for associations and complete all projects within designated timeframe tracking progress on all projects until completion. Attend all Board meetings, including executive session and general session meetings.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates must possess the following: Good verbal and written communication skills; coupled with a proactive and collaborative approach in working with board members, homeowners and vendors. Extensive customer experience with strong problem-solving abilities. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Understanding of budget and project management policies and contract relations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Word and Excel. Minimum 2-4 years of industry experience and CCAM and/or CMCA desired. Ability to work flexible hours, including work nights and weekends. Must be organized, very detail oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize in fast paced environment. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong organization, problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to manage priorities and workflow. Ability to work under stress, with interruptions, and meet all deadlines. Ability to process verbal information and input this information into computer system. Ability to follow complex instructions. Ability to master basic math skills. Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions.
