ROVING PROPERTY MANAGER
(LIHTC - BILINGUAL
REQUIRED
) A property management company is seeking an experienced property manager to work at various multi-unit apartment communities in the Orange County area. The right candidate will be energetic with excellent customer service skills and will be bilingual in English and Spanish. Experience in Property Management and the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program are required. Position comes with 1-bed/1-bath apartment located in Orange, CA.
Responsibilities include:
Adherence to Fair Housing Laws Customer Service Skills Rent Collection Preparation of correspondence such as rent charges, eviction notices, etc. Income and Asset Certification of all residents prior to moving in and annually thereafter Maintaining Confidentiality Maintaining High-Occupancy Level Enforcing Rules & Regulations for all residents Repair & Maintenance reporting and follow up Keeping property looking clean and maintained Responding to emergencies Conducting unit inspections Ability to travel regularly around the Orange County area and occasionally to surrounding counties/cities Adhering to the values and principles of the company
Abilities/Skills:
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Can work in a fast paced environment Can work well independently Able to work with people of diverse backgrounds Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills Attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Strong grammar, punctuation, and spelling Basic math proficiency Communicates clearly and concisely •Must be bilingual in
English & Spanish Experience:
Multifamily property management (minimum of 2+ years, Required) LIHTC program experience (2+ years, Required) Yardi Voyager (Required)
