Full-time Wednesday
  • Saturday (PM) 12:00pm
  • 10:30pm Sunday
  • Wednesday (PM) 12:00pm
  • 10:30pm Wednesday
  • Saturday (Overnight) 9:00pm
  • 7:30am Looking to make a difference in the lives of young people and be part of an amazing and growing mental health team? . Join us at Embark at our Short-term Residential Treatment Program in San Martin, where Behavioral Health Associates offer guidance and support to adolescents and their families. Serving teen girls and boys (gender fluid) ages 12
  • 17, experiencing and struggling with school refusal, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, suicidal ideation and other mental health issues.
Pre-teens and teens reside at our Residential Treatment Center in our comfortable family-style residence, where community and interpersonal relationships are fostered and encouraged.
Responsibilities:
Mentor & develop staff — coach Behavioral Health Associates and strengthen their skills through ongoing guidance. Promote safety — minimize risks and maintain a secure environment for residents and staff. Lead trainings — design and deliver engaging training sessions for Behavioral Health Associates. Oversee room safety checks — ensure room searches are completed thoroughly and documented accurately. Track attendance — maintain clear, timely attendance records for staff and residents. Maintain staffing ratios — monitor and adjust staffing to meet program and regulatory requirements. Ensure JCAHO compliance — complete required documentation promptly and accurately. Run safety drills — conduct monthly fire and earthquake drills to reinforce emergency readiness. Build monthly schedules — develop and manage the staffing schedule to support smooth operations. Participate in treatment planning — attend weekly treatment meetings and complete related documentation.
Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a Supervisor/Manager role with direct reports Minimum 2 years of experience working in behavioral health. High School Diploma or GED is required 21+ years of age or older Able to pass pre-employment drug screen Able to pass criminal investigation background check Current driver's license Ability to perform CPR and First-Aid. Skilled in de-escalating agitated adolescents Preferred One year of experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities. Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or related field.
