Property Management Assistant Woodlake/Woodlake Garden Full Time $22.00 per hour Do you consider yourself organized and detail oriented? Are you looking to grow your experience as a leader? What we are looking for… High School Diploma or equivalent required 2+ years college courses preferred 1+ years' experience in a residential real estate management setting Knowledge and experience working with Tax Credit, Section 8 and/or Public Housing preferred Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and vehicle Must be able to pass background investigation and drug test screening Always operating within OSHA standards and company safety policies and procedures All specific certifications required by law and successfully completing specific property required courses, classes, and training provided by The Michaels Organization Ability to read, speak, and comprehend work instructions and safety notices in English Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, on call, and overtime as needed What your typical day will look like… A schedule of Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day (40 hours per week) Working evenings, weekends, holidays, on call, and overtime as needed Providing tours and maintaining contact with potential residents Inspecting units, building and common areas and proactively reporting and initiating action to resolve any issues Resolving conflicts in a professional manner Assisting Community Manager with collection efforts, filing eviction court documents and attending court hearings if needed Order office supplies when needed Initiating, tracking and closing work orders using property systems Performing recertification interviews with residents, completing paperwork, system entries and submitting to corporate office Tracking rental inquiries from referrals, walk-ins and phone contacts Accepting and logging all applications for unit rental Executing marketing campaigns as well as staying knowledgeable of competition and market conditions Preparing, processing and modifying lease agreements and related forms Staying current on all applicable building codes Complying with all company accounting and operations directives, policies and procedures Working around cleaning solvents, paint fumes and landscaping chemicals Performing other duties as assigned What you can expect… Competitive wage 401(k) with company match Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Prescription plan Paid time off What sets us apart… The Michaels Organization has a promise of lifting lives and that starts with our teammates.
