The Waitai Coastal-Burwood-Linwood Community Governance Team believe in working hard for our community whilst maintaining our sense of humour and pride in our work. Relationships are everything in this role, you will play a key role in providing administrative and secretarial support across the Community Board and Community Governance Team as well as coordinating the delivery of community projects and events as required. About the role | Ko te mahi nei Join a high-performing team who are passionate and deliver a range of services to the community and the community board. The Waitai Community Governance team interact at a grass-roots community level right through to the political level, working directly with the Community Board who make some pretty hefty decisions for the good of our communities. This includes processing funding applications from community to deliver on their goals and aspirations. Providing end to end support to the community board to support their decision making processes. Co-ordinating and delivering events to celebrate the community. Providing amazing administrative support to the advisors in the local team. This role gives you a very real chance to do all of this and to see the tangible results of your hard work come to fruition.
