Assistant Property Manager

Office Clerical Colorado Springs, Colorado Contract to Hire Sep 8, 2026

SNI Companies has partnered with our client to hire an Assistant Property Manager. This position will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of applications, certifications, and recertifications while supporting the Property Manager in addressing residents' daily needs and concerns. Oversee property operations in the Property Manager's absence, using sound judgment and effective problem-solving skills to resolve issues and maintain efficient, compliant, and resident-focused operations.

Principle Duties:

Process applications, certifications, interviews, verifications, and lease documents in compliance with program requirements and company policies.

Manage rent and utility collection, delinquency notices, resident ledgers, and invoice entry.

Maintain applicant waitlists and resident files, including required updates and annual audit documentation.

Monitor property operations, resolve minor issues, escalate concerns, and collaborate with Service Coordinators to support residents.

Complete required COS, LIHTC, and Fair Housing training, maintain consistent attendance, and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and state landlord/tenant rights and responsibilities.

High school diploma or equivalent with administrative/clerical experience.

At least one year of apartment management experience.

Basic math and computer skills, including databases and spreadsheets.

Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and relationship-building skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is from $24.00 to $30.00 per hour DOE. Insurance, and other benefit options that are offered include:
