May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

We're currently seeking a service-forward Property Manager to oversee a boutique, concierge-style high-rise community in Washington, DC. This is a hands-on, largely solo operator role at a well-occupied, high-touch asset in one of DC's most walkable neighborhoods. With limited on-site support and residents who value responsiveness, the right candidate will be organized, relationship-driven, and confident owning operations, leasing performance, and financials end to end. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations for a boutique 80+ unit concierge-style community Serve as the primary on-site leader and resident point of contact, delivering high-touch service and fast follow-through Drive leasing and renewals through relationship-based selling and resident experience Manage budgets, reporting, KPIs, and operational priorities with minimal on-site support Provide occasional weekend coverage as needed (approximately monthly) Qualifications Experience as a Property Manager, General Manager, or a strong Assistant Manager/Sales Manager ready to step into full ownership Proven ability to operate independently and stay organized in a lean-site environment Strong financial and KPI fluency, including budgeting and performance reporting Customer service mindset with a hospitality-forward approach to resident experience Experience with Yardi is preferred Perks Earn up to $97,000 (base plus bonus potential) Prime Washington, DC location with strong public transit access Quarterly in-person meetings at a nearby regional office (metro accessible) Full benefits package including all major insurance, 401k, and PTO Work for a nationwide company that can offer growth and stability
