Membership Director Salary Range:

What you will do at the
Y:
Lead Membership & Engagement Drive membership growth and retention through exceptional service and relationship-building Lead member tours, onboarding, and engagement efforts Monitor membership trends and help improve the member experience Collaborate with other branch leaders to strengthen the Y's role as a community hub Create a Welcoming Environment Foster a culture where every person feels welcomed, valued, and supported Connect members to programs and opportunities that support their goals and well-being Ensure welcoming and belonging are reflected in all member interactions and experiences Lead and Support Your Team Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing membership team Collaborate with branch leadership to support operational goals and branch initiatives What you bring: Proven ability to lead and develop teams to deliver exceptional member experiences Experience growing membership and retention through relationship-building and engagement Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for creating welcoming environments Results-driven with the ability to use data and execute effectively Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 3+ years in membership, sales, or customer experience leadership Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed Knowledge of the Alexandria community is a plus Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
