May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

In this role, you will oversee daily property management activities, ensure exceptional resident experiences, and maintain the property's financial health. Your proactive approach will help foster a welcoming environment for residents while managing administrative tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong background in property management, customer service, and team leadership. Responsibilities Manage leasing processes including lease or rental agreement management, renewals, and move-in/move-out procedures using property management tools like Yardi and OneSite. Oversee property maintenance coordination to ensure facilities are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with all regulations such as Fair Housing laws and LIHTC guidelines. Handle client communication with professionalism, addressing resident inquiries, resolving conflicts through effective conflict management strategies, and upselling available units or services to prospective tenants. Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and recordkeeping for all property-related documents including contracts, legal administrative files, and compliance documentation. Supervise leasing staff and support team management efforts to promote a motivated and efficient work environment. Monitor budgeting activities, rent collections, and financial reporting to ensure the property's fiscal health. Enforce lease or rental agreement terms while ensuring adherence to legal standards such as landlord-tenant law and Section 8 housing regulations. Conduct regular inspections of the property to oversee property maintenance and facilities management activities. Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity using property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing policies, and related legal frameworks. Previous experience managing teams within a property management company environment is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone etiquette and client relationship management practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, reporting, and correspondence. Demonstrated ability in conflict management, negotiation of contracts or leases, and upselling strategies to maximize occupancy rates. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities including budgeting, facilities management, data entry, filing, and contract administration efficiently. Office experience combined with strong organizational skills to manage administrative tasks seamlessly while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.
